Thanks for reminding me what to concentrate on in trying to find a career. I have spent the last 4 years taking care of my mother who suffers from severe chronic pain. Has had every opeeration imaginable. But at 59 she went back to school got her BS and worked to 70 before the pain took over.
In turn I work as a golf instructor and had many sucessful years until she got sick. I have 4 siblings who say I am too afraid to go back to work. We lost are relationships because they left me to care for my mother and were very cruel in their help to me. I admit I am lost. I try to go back and find out where I was headed . I still have to be around for my mother but she is 80 and wants me to grt moving. Not so easy when you gave up so much to care for someone else. Money was of major concern because my dad took his own life when I was 13. He was a brilliant lawyer. I guess I felt it was my responsibility to keep the family together. I failed there.
But your article woke me up. I have a bachelors ib business but it is virtually worthless in today tech word.
Thank you for a true quality article.
anyone has any different careers or a new begginning to help me start over, it would be appreciated

Ross,

Thank you for your nice comments. You are correct, knowing who's behind a blog can help you connect better with the posts...I have in my plans to update the About page and "come out of the closet" as you very well said. Now you've got another good reason to re-visit this blog :).

Thanks again!

Hi there... I like this post, particularly your thoughts on observing and contact with people...

But who are you? It's difficult to make a connection with your posts without seeing anything about you in your 'about' page, and posts written by 'admin'. You'll create a much larger audience if you 'come out of the closet' so to speak! Tell us something of yourself.. do you have a face and name!?

All the best
