March 2010

Perhaps it is a stereotype but the young often think they are invulnerable. Reality doesn’t hit them until one day they wake up and the dull aches and pains they used feel magnify into a chronic health issue. This is what can happen if you don’t take care of your back properly.

Back pain is an issue for millions of people. For some people, the pain is mild enough that they suffer through it but for others it is a debilitating health problem. Whether you are in one spectrum or the other, why suffer pain at all when you can do something about it?

The first issue at hand is to wear proper back support aid to stabalize the back. For women, this not an issue at all because there are many products available on the market that range from pregnancy belts to postpartum girdles. For men, however, such support underwear might be foreign to them. You can rest assured that there are back support girdles for men as well.

Back issues can be due to stress put on the lower part of the back or it can be more of a posture issue in the shoulders. If you suffer back ache due to a posture problem, you can get a posture corrector brace to help straighten you out, literally.

Although such devices help with alleviating the pain symptoms, the work still rests with you to solve the root of the problem. If you have lower back problems then work on developing your core and back muscles so they strengthen around the lumbar region. If you have posture issues then learn to hold yourself up properly.

Having chronic back pain is a serious issue that can affect your quality of life. When you are young, you should not dismiss these aches and pains as minor nuissances as it could grow into something more serious if you are not careful.

If you want to learn how to jump higher you need to take notes from the best jumpers that exists, beach volleyball players.  Have you ever seen any athletes in better shape than beach volleyball players?  This is because training in the sand is the best form of cardio and weight loss that you will ever find.  I worked as a personal trainer for a few years and I have always loved sand volleyball.  I could easily run a 6 minute mile on a treadmill and not even break a sweat but just playing for 6 minutes in the sand and I would be exhausted.

The human body gets used to the same old things and you have to keep changing things up.  This is why you want to do sand training.  You are bare foot so you don’t run into the problems that come with shoes, such as too much hill striking, shin splints and other foot problems.  Shoes should be avoided whenever possible because they don’t help with knee problems or back problems.

If you do little sprints of only 6 steps in sand, you will be getting a better workout than a lap around a regular track where you would just be walking.  There is nothing better in terms of weight loss.  A great workout is the following:

  • Sprint 6 steps
  • Jump as High as you can
  • Run backwards 6 steps
  • Do 2 fast jumps

This little combination can be done as many times as you can do it.  You will be surprised that this little plyometric workout that sounds so simple is actually very difficult and you may only be able to do it once.  That’s okay, you will working out your body in an entirely new way and you will see results because of it.  Keep your workouts new and exciting so that you will love to exercise each day.

Are Lifegear Inversion Tables Good

by admin on March 31, 2010

A good quality product that you can buy that doesn’t cost you a lot of money is the Lifegear products. They specifically try to design products that are very high quality but reach their target market of lower end products versus the higher end products. They want to be able to get into the homes of more consumers with their fitness products because they are less expensive than their competitors. This holds true with the Lifegear inversion tables which are a very good high-quality product but lack some of the extras that the higher-end manufacturers add in. What this does is it allows them to sell their products for a cheaper price than their competitors while maintaining the same level of quality. If you were to do some research on this brand and this company you would find that most people that purchased their products are extremely happy with them and claim that they work very well. The best way to find this type of information is to read consumer reviews from people that have given unsolicited information about their experience with the products. This is really the true test as to whether a product is good or not because they are not required to say anything about their experience. You often times will find that if a product is bad or if a product is really good there’ll be a lot of people willing to say so.

One product in particular is the Lifegear inversion table with memory foam. This is the highest level of inversion table that this company manufactures and is extremely nice. The memory foam helps add a level of comfort to your body when using the table to help stretch out your back. You will be extremely happy if you were to buy this product because not only does it work well, but it has that extra level of comfort that makes it a joy to use.
