Slow Down Aging with Anti-Aging Vitamins

When we age, our bodies slowly break down until we can no longer function. Our physical appearance suffers as well, eventually showing signs of wear. These signs are unsightly for many of the vain population. Aging effects include wrinkles, dark circles under the eyes, dry leathery skin, and sagging of normally supple skin.  To counter-act these effects and prevent these signs from showing, some of the best anti-aging products have now become available in the market today. Often, these products are very expensive but have little to no effect on our appearance. At best, they delay aging effects for a very short while. Anti-aging vitamins are more effective than creams and lotions. They work both internally and externally. Vitamins are also cheaper and easier to get, with the added bonus of being a lot better for your health than other anti-aging products could possibly be.

Vitamin C helps prevent damage from free radicals. Free radicals can be found in pollution and radiation, including UV rays from the sun, and do a lot of damage to our skin. In turn, Vitamin C creates a layer of protection against the damage while also helping maintain young-looking skin. It also helps regenerate lost Vitamin E, which is another anti-aging vitamin that helps protect your skin. Citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables contain a lot of Vitamin C.

Vitamin E heals dry, cracked skin and helps it retain moisture that is often lost as skin cells are destroyed. Vitamin E also protects skin against UV rays which is why it is often put in sunscreens as well. As far as normal health concerns go, Vitamin E is good for us as it prevents blood from clotting too much which helps lower the risks for heart attacks. You can get Vitamin E from nuts, seeds, and vegetable oils.

One of the most common signs of aging is the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. When we get older, they become a constant presence even though we don’t feel tired or stressed. A good anti-aging vitamin to help with this is Vitamin K. It can be found in vegetables such as kale, lettuce, and broccoli.
