How to improve your self confidence

Self confidence is a treasure. It’s something that you can use to achieve goals, and no one can take it away from you. Only problem is, not a lot of people have the level of self confidence needed in making things work. If you’ve been insecure all your life, don’t worry, there are ways on how you can improve your self confidence. Before I give you tips though, let me tell you that improving self confidence doesn’t only take minutes, hours or days. It is a long process, but it can definitely be achieved.  So, here are simple tried- and- tested ways on how you can improve your self confidence.

TAKE TIME TO RECOGNIZE YOUR INSECURITIES

Before you can start building your confidence, take the time to recognize all of your insecurities. Write it down on a piece of paper, and reflect on it. Ask yourself why you are insecure about such things, but don’t find the solutions just yet. Just feel all of those insecurities, then let it go by burning the paper. Once this is done, forget about them, and move on to the next phase.

ACCEPT YOURSELF FOR WHO YOU ARE

You might think otherwise, but you’re really not so bad. Once you accept the whole you—your weaknesses, your strengths and your issues—you get to move on with life, and stop being so insecure. Just remember that nobody’s perfect, so you don’t have to be ashamed when you’re not.

IDENTIFY YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Once you’ve worked on your insecurities, take time to identify your achievements. It could be something as small as baking a cake or as big as developing a selling strategy for your company. Everybody has achievements, so be proud about yours. Write down all of the strategies that you can remember, even when it dates back to your childhood. Give yourself time to feel proud about them, and keep that pride within you.

PUT ON A SMILE

When you have to do something you’re really afraid to do, just go ahead and put on a big smile. Lift your head, and believe that you can do it. Remember that people really have no idea whether you can do something or not, so just go ahead and pretend that you can do it. Funny, but it actually works in lifting your self esteem. Also maintain a presence of mind, and give yourself time to think before talking (especially during a job interview).

Eating Mindfully Impacts Healthy Weight Loss

Your diet is one of the strongest indicators how your physical fitness. What you put in really is half the battle. It makes sense though. If you have a high performance vehicle, it should be no surprise you need high performance fuel. Same goes with your body. If you have a high performance body, you need to put in high performance fuel. Fuel like vegetables, grains, and fruits. Your diet really is the key towards effective weight loss.

So the first step towards creating an healthy diet plan is to stop viewing food as something difficult or tricky. Just start with three good well balance meals a day. The end goal is to get to six small meals a day, but if you are just starting out begin with three. How many people you know regularly have three well balance meals a day that encompass breakfast, lunch and dinner? It may seem like common knowledge that everyone eats breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the reality is how many people skip breakfast because they woke up late? Or how about their breakfast includes a whipped cream latte from a coffee shop?

The truth is once we stop eating erratically and start paying more attention to eating well balanced meals regularly cravings start to disappear. Food is no longer something complicated or special, but rather it becomes what is should have always been. Something to look forward to and enjoy. With a consistent diet you will also eat less during meal times, feel fuller with less effort, and be able to eat more mindfully, as opposed to being over indulging because of appetite.

To conclude, this life coaching strategy for eating mindfully is not about increasing your metabolism rate by eating consistently. It is more about feeding your body adequately enough to allow health to take its effects. Once you start nourishing your body the right way, amazing things will begin to occur. Things like increase energy, less cravings, and less dependency on stimulants like coffee.

Do You Hate Your Job

Making a living can become an ugly reality for many of us. We begin our adult lives so eager to go out into the work force and “be on our own” so that we don’t have to answer to our parents. Sound familiar? And then reality sets in. Whether this realization takes months, years, or decades, the majority of us reach a point that we realize that our life isn’t what we had imagined it would be.

This is a traumatic point that we reach. How do you figure out what you want to spend the rest of your life doing when you know that you don’t want to continue on as you have been previously? This very question results in anxiety, stress, and depression for a lot of people. Many of us resort to medications, drugs, or other crutches to get us through each day because we are so lost in our desire to change our lives. The problem that needs to be addressed is simple; are you miserable about your job or are you miserable about your life? You’ve got to learn the answer to this question before you run off and quit your job. Many of us, in our attempts to change our lives when we’re not happy, decide that it’s our job that sucks. After quitting that hated job, many times we realize that it wasn’t the job that was making us miserable. The job was just an excuse to avoid the reality that we simply aren’t happy with our life in it’s current form.

Developing skills in analyzing your own behaviors and choices will change the way you approach your future. This isn’t a problem that happens to just a few individuals. The majority of people in our world will reach this point as some period of their lives. This is the point where we begin to grow as individuals and lose our need to be accepted in the status quo or our environment. If you’re ready to change your world and your perspective begin seeking out information on emotional behaviors, changing your perspective on the world and yourself, and begin learning about the balance between personal happiness and the personal choices you make each day. Don’t spend another moment thinking I hate my job because, possibly, you don’t. Reach out and learn how to change the way you think, begin understanding the responsibility you have in your future. If you can’t do that, keep going the way you’ve been going and sooner or later, after enough misery and unhappiness, you’ll begin to realize that only YOU can change your life. See ya then!
