Acne-Free is Stress-Free

by admin on June 28, 2010

The market offers a wide selection of acne products to cure those embarrassing skin outbreaks and inflamed zits.  The internet hosts a lot of information about curing acne as well as official websites of some of the most renowned skin care products that would help you consider your choices.  Most of them are known for their high quality features and cost-effective attributes that would surely phase out bad acne.  Having smooth blemish free skin is always deemed as a rare feat, as almost everyone suffers from acne every now and then.

If you have young beautiful and glowing skin you will always feel the refreshing look most people want to achieve.  However, if you suffer from bad acne then you will surely have to deal with the stress that it would bring upon you.  Dealing with other people (as well as any other day to day operation) would be easier if you don’t have to hide because you are embarrassed with your face acne treatment.  Living life to the fullest would mean living it with utmost confidence and contentment – dealing with acne on the other hand, doesn’t have to come in between.  Even if you pose a simple kind of beauty, the quality of having a fresh face, free from blemishes and spots would set you apart from the rest.  Without a doubt, you will have more on your plate to deal with when you deal with acne:  self-confidence, self-esteem, embarrassments, and insecurities.  This will ultimately lead you to stress – another factor that would affect the quality of your skin.  Everything is relative: from acne to stress, and from stress to acne.  So if you want to do away with this disaster, then it is highly recommended for you to come up with the right and smart choice for maintaining your skin.

An important factor that you have think through when it comes to maintaining a healthy beautiful skin is to come up with an effective skin care regimen.  This hygiene routine should be accessible for you and you should follow it responsibly.  The conventional washing, cleansing and moisturizing (which should usually come in order) should be done with utmost care.  Have your face steam over a basin of hot water.  The steam will open up your pores for effective facial washing or foaming.  It would wash out the clogged pores and dirt.  Use facial toner or cleanser to clear away face from residue after washing it.  It would also eradicate excess facial oils that would readily cause pimples.  Finally, apply facial cream or moisturizer to rejuvenate skin and to refresh it.  A simple routine such as this would surely decrease the risk of pimple outbreaks.  This can be done twice a day, ideally day and night.

Finally, you also have to be wary of your environment.  Avoid dusty and dirty places where you can easily accumulate bacteria and dirt that would clog your pores and result in bad acne scars.  Stay away from the heat of the sun so as not to inflame your skin.

How to Get Rid of Bad Acne

by ChangeYourLife on June 16, 2010

If you’re reading this article, you have probably either had bad acne in the recent past, or have it now.  You’re reading because whatever you have been doing so far hasn’t worked for you like you hoped it might, and you figure that there are other things out there that might help.

You would be right in thinking this.

Basic acne care can be broken down into three stages based on when you do them:

1.    Before acne occurs
2.    While you have acne
3.    After acne has happened

1.    Before acne occurs

The first is what you would commonly term prevention, developing a routine of looking after your skin (and body) to prevent acne flare ups.  This includes developing a 3 step facial routine to get rid of bad acne, managing your lifestyle to minimise factors which can cause acne flare ups (including hormones, lack of exercise, diet, stress among others), and dietary supplements which contain high levels of antioxidants, and certain vitamins and minerals.
2.    While you have acne

The second category is what you do when bad acne strikes.  Most people would simply pop the zit forget about it, but I can tell you from experience, you will regret it, as it’s the best way to get scars on your face.  So rather than doing this, you’re better off finding a topical cream or gel which will help you, or speak to your doctor and purchase some Over The Counter Medication.  Products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or an antibacterial like Triclosan is recommended.
3.    After acne has happened

The third category is what you do with your skin after you get bad acne on your face, and you are left with a series of bad acne scars.  Bad back acne and face acne is no fun, and especially when it leaves scars.  There are a number of different techniques you can use to alleviate it found right in your cupboard.  If they don’t help, probably best to see you doctor.
