Laser Liposuction

The chances of a laser liposuction procedure turning out good are only as high as the qualification and experience of the cosmetic surgeon. Often times potential liposuction patients are so preoccupied with the costs of the procedure that they don’t give enough thought to the person who will actually perform the procedure. You sometimes hear a person say “I can’t believe it, I found a great price in a newspaper ad for a liposuction surgery that costs half of other quotes I received.” This is actually true and you will see numerous advertisements with ridiculously low fees for these kinds of cosmetic procedures. You even see these advertisements online with promises of $1000 liposuction fat removal surgery. These are usually advertised from third world countries where medical practices are lacking to say the least.

The costs of laser liposuction surgeries need to be addressed before even thinking about cosmetic surgery. After all we are talking about an irreplaceable body of a human being. Laser liposuction is not as simple as buying a car or other material items. The results of the liposuction you receive may very well be something that you will have to live with for the rest of your life. This is true for a successful procedure and it is also true for many procedures that have gone bad. The margin of error is too small and this is why it is in your best interest to find a cosmetic surgeon who knows exactly what they are doing. And with liposuction it is not merely the removal of fat but also the sculpting of the body and for that the you need someone who is highly experienced.

If you know a thing or two about liposuction, then you will know that some of the best liposuction surgeons in the world are from Buenos Aires. The reason is very simple they are the most experienced liposuction surgeons because Argentinians per capita have the highest liposuction’s done. This makes those surgeons very qualified and very experienced. If they specialize in liposuction of the face for example then they would have performed the procedure numerous of times. In contrast an inexperienced all rookie cosmetic surgeon doesn’t have this kind of experience. And these inexperienced laser liposuction surgeons are the ones who charge the lowest fees. 5 to 10 years after beginning their practice their fees will not be so low. Keep this in mind when searching for a plastic surgeon to perform laser liposuction on you. The qualified and experienced surgeons have been there and done that, they had actually gone through the procedure over and over again. You can feel comfortable with such surgeons and they will give you the highest chance for a successful procedure.

Introducing Laser Liposuction

by admin on February 18, 2010

Laser liposuction is a relatively new treatment that has been designed to remove small pockets of fatty tissue from areas that regular exercise and a strict diet have not been able to tone.

The procedure is ideal for getting rid of stubborn fatty deposits in areas like beneath the chin, the jowls and neck, the face and the arms and it’s also good for reducing the size of male breasts. The technique involves a process by which the patient’s fat cells are lased through a small incision made in the skin and are thereby heated to such an extent that they swell up and eventually burst. The liquefied, or emulsified, fatty tissue is then either removed from the area with the help of a small suction device or is left in the body to be absorbed naturally and then expelled through the liver.

Laser liposuction has proven to be more popular for removing small and stubborn fatty deposits than traditional lipo techniques as the former procedure is far quicker and can be performed under local anesthetic. It has, however, been found to work better on those people who are only slightly overweight, who are fairly fit and who subscribe to a regular exercise routine and a nutritional diet.

This procedure also has fewer side effects than traditional lipo surgery, and less bruising and swelling are seen as local blood vessels are cauterized during the treatment with the result that excess bleeding is contained. Patients will experience a certain amount of soreness, and light bruising, but should be able to resume normal activities – except major physical exercise – within a day or two.

Given all its advantages, it’s safe to say that laser liposuction is the face of the future and will only become more popular as time goes by.
