Give me one woman who does not long for a beautiful body.
From as far back as the school playground, women’s looks and figures have been of immense importance to females, much more than men.
Jillian Michaels is a beautiful fitness trainer and has some amazing fitness videos for men and women (the most popular one being the 30 Day Shred).
We are constantly bombarded by images of beautiful women in Hollywood, films and television programs, and in magazines.
As well as having beautiful faces we also want slim and trim bodies.
To get a body that is slim and fit you need to incorporate aerobic exercise with strengh training. Strength training have many advantages that are particularly important for women such as increasing your bone density which we need to do as wel get older in order to avoid problems such as osteoporosis, which is a disease that occurs especially in women once they have gone through the menopause. Their bones become very porous and are prone to fracturing easily. Strength training will also give you improved balance, a healthier body, firmer legs and arms, more vitality and energy just to name a few of the benefits.
As with all good quality programs do not expect to lose weight in as little as 1 week or x days. Losing weight needs to be done slowly and over time otherwise you are putting your health at risk. You need to have alternate periods of doing regular exercise, having time off to letting your muscles rest and combining all of this with a balanced and healthy diet.
Never workout and do your strength training routines every day, have a day’s rest after a day’s training to allow your body to recuperate and your muscles to relax and rebuild after a day’s exercise.
Remember also that once you start doing a strength training program your body will get used to the exercise moves and you then need to vary this and change your exercise programs and probably take it up a notch.
You must target all the major muscle areas in your strength training otherwise your body will be out of balance. Don’t concentrate on one area only because you seem to think that this is the only problem area for you. For example don’t work on your thighs only to the exclusion of everything else. You must work on all parts of your body because your body is a whole and there is no one part that works in isolation. So make sure you exercise your shoulders, chest, abs, calves and so on.
Don’t concentrate only on strength trainig, include a good aerobics activity too to get your heart pumping.
Jillian Michaels has many exercise DVDs that cover different types of training for all levels from beginners to advanced.
You too could end up with the body of your dreams if you do this.
