By making a change in the cutlery and dinner ware you use, you can greatly cut down on calories and have much better control over your portion sizes. All it will take is a few small changes and the difference will be seen in the mirror and the scale. If you feel funny at first with the new changes, you will soon get used to it as you realize the benefits. Here’s how:
Plates
Stick with smaller plates; almost the size of a saucer (13cm) and you will eat less. Smaller plates also have the ability to make a small amount of food look like a bigger amount.
Glasses
With glasses the opposite are true. Short glasses tend to have more liquids pored into them as tall glasses. So to save calories from drinks, choose tall glasses.
Bowls
Only use big bowls for salad. For anything else use small bowls or even teacups. That way you will consume fewer calories.
Spoons
The bigger the spoon the bigger the amount of food that will be scooped out and eaten. So with spoons stick with small spoons, even if you are serving food. This will help you to eat less.
Serving dishes
If you use smaller servers (say 1.5 liters instead of 3 liters), people will scoop out less food. And the same goes for non-see trough servers like ceramics over glass.
Switching from your normal dinnerware to the ones mentioned might feel weird at first but with all the less food and calories you will be consuming, your new appearance might change your mind about the weirdness of it all. If you also need to lose some weight, remember that you will have to do some exercise as well
Pilates is an excellent exercise to do. Read the supreme pilates review to discover more about it. The aero pilates machine is also worth checking out as it has and added cardio element.
