For many, one of the things they consistently complain about is their belly fat, or the so called love handles. The good thing is that there are many ways on how to lose belly fat.

We don’t need to resort to diet pills and supplements to lose belly fat because there are natural weight loss techniques that we can apply.

First tip on how to lose belly fat is to eat a healthy breakfast. Do not skip breakfast because it will be hard to lose weight in this manner. If you’re hungry at the start of the day, you will be eating too much for the remainder of the day. But if you’re full, you will not eat a lot of snacks and indulge in a heavy breakfast.  Eggs and fibre should be part of your breakfast because they make your breakfast heavy which leaves you satisfied and full.

The second top is to have morning workouts. Morning workouts are great because it activates your metabolism so that you can burn fat quicker and naturally throughout the day. Jogging or running on the treadmill is a recommended start in the morning. Plus, by working out in the morning, you’ll be done with your exercise requirement for the day. You won’t have excuses such as being too tired from work to exercise. You would be able to check one thing off your checklist already. You should do these cardio exercises at least half an hour daily. Monitor your weight daily to see the difference. You will be enjoying a toned stomach soon. If you engage further in abs forming exercises, you’ll be having well toned abs instead of flabby love handles. You can also join runs for charity. Instead of always exercising in the gym, you can join runs that are raising money for certain causes. You will be inspired by the many people that join these races in order to get fit and help out as well.

Finally, reduce intake of foods with lots of refined carbohydrates. These include foods like spaghetti and lasagna, potato and white rice. Instead switch to brown rice and wheat bread. These have lots of nutrients and vitamins as well as fiber to help you have higher metabolism to burn the fat faster in your belly. Also reduce intake of food heavy with saturated fat such as pork. Increase your intake of protein rich food such as tuna and seafood as they contain lesser saturated fats.
