Tips to Aid in Healing Back Acne

Back acne is just as prevalent as facial acne, however unless you have it yourself you probably do not think about it very much at all.  Fortunately, it is possible to find products and ways to relieve your back acne. In most cases, whatever you would apply to your facial acne can also be used on back acne.

Here are a few tips to show you how to get rid of back acne.

1. Cleansing:  It is admittedly quite difficult to adequately clean your back while showering, as it is impossible for most people to cover their entire back.  As cleanliness is very important when it comes to healing acne, and as you will most likely want to wash your back with a special acne cleansing soap, then you should try to invest in a brush or soft scrub that will enable you to reach your entire back. Just place a little of your cleanser on the head of the scrub or brush, and gently wash the area of your back that has back acne.

2. Remember to exfoliate your back, and get rid of the dead skin. This may not be as easy to do as washing your back, but again you should be able to place the exfoliating scrub on a brush or whatever you use to wash your back with. It is an important step as otherwise those dead skin cells just clog up your pores and cause further infection.

3. Aloe Vera is a great healing agent that can be used to apply directly to an back acne.

4. Another great, natural, oil that is great for your skin is tea tree oil. It is a natural antiseptic, and it can be applied to try to get rid of the bacteria that produce acne.

5. Diet:  Drink lots of water and eat foods that are high in fiber in order to help expedite the passage of toxins from your body.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are also very good for your skin.

6. Finally, remember that you should never squeeze pimples. Doing so is counterproductive, and you may well end up with permanent scarring. While it may be tempting to do so, you really do need to resist the urge.  Fortunately, it is not that easy to squeeze your own back pimples so that is one instance where not reaching your back has some benefits!

Sticking to these simple procedures should make a difference to your skin, and should help get rid of bacne.
